Job summary

The Reynolds and Reynolds Company affiliate TSD Mobility Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Payments Account Executive to join our growing sales team.

You will be a quota-carrying seller expert in payments, focusing on converting existing TSD customers to the integrated platform and expanding to new merchants. You will own the full sales cycle from discovery to close, collaborating with pricing to translate statements into savings and explain interchange economics to founders, CEOs, and CFOs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in merchant acquiring, embedded platform payments, or payments infrastructure.
• Expert payments fluency: interchange, IC+ vs. blended, revenue-share models, and effective-rate math.
• Comfortable working from merchant processing statements.
• Knowledgeable about deal constraints (devices, geographies, currencies).
• Power user of AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to automate daily work.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales quotas and targets for deal size and volume.
• Convert existing customers to TSD's integrated payments platform.
• Sell using data-driven, value-based comparisons with pricing team.
• Structure deals to maximize merchant savings and platform margin.
• Travel 20% to tradeshows, visits, and quarterly meetings.

Job description

TSD Mobility Solutions, Inc., an affiliate of Reynolds and Reynolds, runs an integrated payments platform for vehicle rental operators and dealerships, and is looking for a Payments Account Executive to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be a quota-carrying seller who is already an expert in payments. Your initial focus will be converting an established book of existing TSD customers from legacy processors onto TSD's integrated payments platform, then expanding to unattached TSD customers and, over time, sourcing net-new merchants through our partner ecosystem. You will own the full sales cycle from discovery to close. Working with our pricing team, you will turn processor statements into savings comparisons and explain interchange, IC+ vs. blended, and effective-rate economics to Founders, CEOs, and CFOs. You will be measured on conversion of the existing account book, outreach activity into the account book, comparisons delivered, merchants signed, volume and platform revenue added, forecast accuracy, and partner-sourced pipeline.

Your compensation will be a base pay of $90-$110k. Total targeted income with commission for year one is expected to be $150k+.

• Structure deals to maximize merchant savings while ensuring TSD captures its targeted platform margin.
• Travel 20% to tradeshows, merchant and partner visits, and quarterly team meetings.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in quota-carrying sales selling merchant acquiring, embedded platform payments, or payments infrastructure required
• Expert payments fluency: interchange, scheme fees, IC+ vs. blended, revenue-share models, bps and effective-rate math, underwriting, chargebacks, compliance basics required
• Comfortable working from merchant processing statements required
• Knowledgeable about deal constraints (devices, geographies, and currencies) required
• Power user of AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to automate and accelerate daily work required
• Closer mentality with disciplined CRM hygiene and consistent pipeline management
• Industry experience in vehicle rental, fleet, mobility, or dealership is a plus
• Ability to travel 20%
• College Degree in relevant field preferred
• Must have a valid driver'
• s license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years
