Arbor Financial Credit Union in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Payment Systems Specialist to manage member payments and account transactions with accuracy and security. You will work in a hybrid environment and participate in a growth track from Specialist II to III with pay increases related to advancement.

You will monitor electronic payments, card services, and stop payments, resolve transaction issues, and provide guidance to members and partners while maintaining records and vendor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Financial services industry experience.
• Strong computer and application skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to collaborate and maintain effective team relationships.
• Professionalism in conduct, communication, and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Process, balance, and reconcile payment system transactions and related accounts to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Support payment services operations, including electronic payments, card services, and stop payment requests.
• Investigate and resolve transaction exceptions, disputes, errors, and member account issues.
• Monitor payment activity for potential fraud, abuse, and risk.
• Provide responsive support and guidance to members, community partners, and internal team members regarding payment-related services and transactions.
• Maintain accurate records, general ledger activity, and vendor communication.

Starting Wage: $17.25/Hour, based on experience
