The Payment Solutions Sales Representative is critical in driving new business opportunities and revenue growth by offering customers credit card payment processing services. This position requires a strategic approach to cross-selling, customer relationship management, and collaboration across internal teams.

*Please note the internal title is Customer Sales Representative - Credit Cards and Payment Solutions.

Location: This position is open to remote candidates eligible to work in the United States. A hybrid work schedule will be offered if the ideal candidate is based near our Concord, MA office.

Travel Expectations: If the ideal candidate is located outside the Concord, MA area, they will be required to complete initial onboarding at our Concord, MA office.

Core Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Cross-Selling:
    Devise and execute strategic plans to identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities for credit card payment processing services.
  2. Exceeding Sales Targets:
    Achieve and surpass assigned monthly sales quotas by independently managing outbound sales activities and opportunity building.
  3. Exceptional Customer Relationships:
    Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with existing customers.
    Educate businesses on the payment processing industry, highlighting the value and benefits of our solutions.
  4. Collaboration:
    Work closely with other Tripleseat teams, including marketing and customer success, to provide valuable insights and support for enhancing customer engagement and retention strategies.
  5. Record-Keeping:
    Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions in our CRM system.
    Leverage data-driven insights to refine and optimize future sales and marketing strategies.
    Other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
  1. Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
    Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
  2. Technical Proficiency:
    Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools such as Salesforce, Hubspot, or similar platforms.
  3. Problem-Solving:
    Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to think quickly while empathizing with customer needs.
  4. Work Ethic and Attitude:
    Multi-task orientation, a self-starter attitude, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
    Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  5. Team Collaboration:
    Effective team player who can work well with Sales, Customer Support, Marketing, and Product Management teams.
  6. Values Alignment:
    A customer-focused attitude and the ability to build rapport across teams.
Preferred Experience:
  1. 2-3 years of proven success in outbound credit card/payment solution sales, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding ambitious sales targets.
  2. Hospitality experience is a plus.
  3. Exhibit a deep understanding of and passion for the intricacies of the payment processing industry.
  4. While a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, experience and results are highly valued.
