Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA seeks a Payment Policy Research Analyst & Technical Writer to identify and present cost-saving opportunities within SHP's payment policies. You will leverage data insights, collaborate with subject matter experts, and deploy savings initiatives across internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include researching payment policies, developing strategies, and presenting findings.

Formación

• 3 years Health plan experience or 3 years Medical coding, required.
• CPC Certification required within first 6 months of hire.
• BS/BA/Advanced degree in health care or medical field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Research & assessment of internal payment policies & solutions to identify new cost savings opportunities.
• Determine strategies to achieve identified cost savings (policy development, authorization criteria, process changes).
• Participate in analytical and fact-finding work to support opportunity development.
• Establish relationships with stakeholders to define and deliver payment initiatives.
• Influence leadership to adopt new ideas, approaches, or products.
