Job summary

National Life Group in Addison, TX seeks a seasoned Manager, Payment Center to lead a cross-functional team responsible for posting payments and accurate accounting on customer policies. You will drive efficiency, polish processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes talent development, data-driven problem solving, and collaboration with Treasury, Product, Hedging, and other teams to deliver exceptional service to clients and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related work experience, or an advanced degree and 5+ years of related experience.
• Strong leadership with vision, purpose, and high-performance team management.
• Customer-focused with partner and client interests in mind.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; proactive and strategic.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities under pressure.
• Ability to empower, influence, and connect diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, training, and performance management to build a high-performing team.
• Develop and maintain productivity and quality metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal/external customers to deliver exemplary service.
• Ensure payment transactions are processed accurately and in compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of products and processes to ensure operational efficiency.
• Address high-priority inquiries with urgency and efficiency.
• Adhere to audit, fraud prevention, and regulatory standards.
• All other duties as assigned.
