Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking an Electronics Engineer – Payloads Subsystems in California. You will provide engineering support for payloads, report to the subsystem lead and program manager, and work within an IPT to ensure readiness and test execution.

The role requires a STEM degree with related experience, active Top Secret clearance (SCI/SAP as needed), and on-site work with up to 25% travel. Collaboration across disciplines and suppliers is key to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with related engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with payload systems and technical development.
• Experience with systems integration and working with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Support readiness reviews, site training, test briefs and debriefs.
• Support post-test activities: review logs, analyze data, troubleshoot hardware/software.
• Lead pre-test planning and system checkout to ensure objectives and specs.
• Coordinate anomalies with engineering and supplier SMEs; review service bulletins and discrepancy reports.
