Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an Electronics Engineer for Payloads Subsystems in CA (San Diego or Palmdale). The candidate will provide key engineering support for payload subsystems and report to the subsystem engineering technical lead and program manager. This on-site, full-time role requires up to 25% travel.

A Top Secret clearance (with SCI and SAP potential) is desired; U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

BS in STEM with 2 years engineering experience or MS with related experience.
Practical payload systems experience.
Technical development and systems integration experience.
Experience managing suppliers.
Active US Government Top-Secret Clearance (with BI within past 6 years or Continuous Evaluation).
Ability to obtain and maintain US Government SCI clearance.
Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance within a reasonable time.

Responsibilities

Meetings and readiness reviews, training, test briefs and debriefs, security coordination.
Post-test review, data analysis and defect investigation of test logs; troubleshoot hardware/software.
Pre-test support including test planning to ensure objectives and specs.
Coordinate anomalies with engineering and supplier SMEs; review service bulletins and discrepancy reports.
