Job summary

Experian Health is seeking a Director, Payer Strategy & Integration to lead payer engagement, interoperability strategy, and executive relationships with national and regional payers. You will be responsible for deep payer insights, cross-functional alignment, and driving strategic initiatives.

You will guide payer-provider workflow improvements, partner with product teams on roadmap priorities, and travel up to 20% while reporting to the Product organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in healthcare technology, payer, or clearinghouse domains.
• Background in product management, business development, or payer strategy.
• Executive-level relationship management with health plans.
• 5+ years in Payer EDI and administrative processing like a Clearinghouse or Claims systems.
• Experience with X12 transaction sets and 270/271, 837/835 at the EDI level.
• Strong technical/architectural understanding; reliable partnership with engineering.
• Able to produce high-quality product, strategy, and customer docs.
• Willing to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead payer engagement and interoperability strategy.
• Build executive relationships with health plans.
• Identify opportunities to improve payer connectivity and payer-provider workflows.
• Partner with product teams to define payer-focused roadmap priorities.
• Guide plans related to eligibility, claims, payments, prior authorization, and interoperability.
• Represent Experian Health with payer partners and industry groups.
