Job summary

Pavement Preservation Group in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Superintendent to lead a 10-15 person crew, ensure quality, safety, and on-time project delivery while maintaining budget. You will coordinate daily operations, read plans, and supervise maintenance and equipment, working with field staff to meet client expectations.

This full-time role requires travel, weekends as needed, and a valid DOT medical card. Prior paving superintendent experience and knowledge of compaction, rolling patterns, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a paving superintendent.
• Strong knowledge of compaction techniques and ride-ability.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of a 10-15 person crew to maintain high standards.
• Assist planning to ensure projects stay within budget and schedule.
• Maintain safety through meetings, PPE usage, and OSHA policies.
• Manage materials quantities and ensure timely deliveries.
• Oversee equipment and maintenance; ensure driver inspections.
• Train and mentor less-experienced staff on maintenance and safety.
• Provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
• Utilize company tools (truck, tablet, phone) for daily duties.
