Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Pavement Marking Superintendent to lead union crews on DOT and municipal roadway projects. You will direct field operations to meet DOT plans, MUTCD standards, and safety requirements.

You will supervise labor, enforce payroll and compliance, manage schedule, and coordinate with inspectors, engineers, and operations leadership to maintain quality and on-time delivery. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role requiring strong communication,

Qualifications

Experience in pavement marking / striping operations and supervisory leadership.
Demonstrated experience managing union crews under CBAs.
Strong knowledge of DOT specifications and inspection processes; MUTCD and state supplements.
Familiarity with Temporary Traffic Control requirements.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily pavement marking operations on DOT, county, and municipal contracts.
Interpret and execute work per DOT plans, specs, drawings and bid documents.
Plan, schedule, coordinate labor, equipment and materials to meet production targets and deadlines.
Ensure compliance with MUTCD, state supplements, and local traffic control standards.
Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with DOT and company standards.
Troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain workflow.
Serve as primary field contact for DOT inspectors and municipal representatives.
