Job summary

Baldwin Paving Company, Inc. is seeking a Paving Screwman for a full-time role. This position reports to the Site Foreman and requires experience operating the Screed Paver. Training is provided for paver electronics, with shifts that include nights and weekends.

The Screwman adjusts screed height to ensure correct depth, grade and finish, maintains ride quality, and supports the crew on all paving tasks. A valid driver’s license is helpful.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Screed Paver, at least 1 year.
• Knowledge of paver electronics is a plus; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Adjust screed height to ensure proper depth, grade and finish.
• Maintain the asphalt mat and ride quality.
• Operate feeders, flow gates and augers to regulate material.
• Install and remove auto paving electronics.
• Perform daily and preventive maintenance on tools/equipment.
• Report problems to Foreman.
• Work nights and weekends as required.
