The Middlesex Corporation, a leader in heavy civil construction, seeks a Paving Foreman to support paving operations and ensure safe, high-quality project execution in Florida. The role emphasizes safety, supervision, and coordination across crews and equipment.

Responsibilities include leading the team, reading plans, coordinating with the Superintendent, and maintaining equipment and daily reporting to drive productive, compliant paving outcomes.

Qualifications

• Safety and quality oriented.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Organized; ability to multi-task; detail-oriented.
• Team Player with good interpersonal skills.
• CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level 1 and/or Level 2 a plus.

Responsabilités

• Comply with safety policies and promote safety, including reporting accidents and near misses.
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Read and understand Plans and Specifications for each project.
• Be on site (30) minutes prior to start time.
• Review the project with the Superintendent to ensure readiness and equipment readiness.
• Supervise and coordinate activities for all team members under supervision.
• Monitor paving operations for depth, yield, cross slope and density and ensure specs are met.
• Ensure crew and trucks are operating efficiently at all times.
• Determine asphalt tonnage and mix type required.
• Daily trucking reports and adjust trucks as needed.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor and Safety Department.
