Job summary

The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a Paving Superintendent to lead safety‑driven paving operations in our Florida projects. You will oversee crews and subcontractors, coordinate asphalt tonnage and mix types, and ensure work meets contract specs and quality standards.

Qualifications

Minimum of five years of paving experience.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.

Responsibilities

Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures on site.
Oversee and coordinate activities of all crew and subcontractors.
Verify and coordinate asphalt tonnage and mix types with the plant.
Prepare daily time sheets and project schedules; review with foremen.
Ensure project layout from drawings meets quality and productivity standards.
Attend weekly toolbox talks and project meetings; report to Safety and Operations.
Monitor crew performance, sign in/out sheets, and supervise equipment maintenance.
