Preferred Materials, Inc., CRH company, is seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreperson to lead a paving crew across Florida projects. This hands-on leadership role focuses on safety, productivity, and quality in roadway and infrastructure work.

You will oversee daily paving operations, coordinate with plant and trucking teams, mentor crew members, and maintain thorough production records while building strong relationships with customers and site leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of asphalt paving experience.
• Experience leading field crews in paving or heavy civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of paving operations, planning, and equipment use.
• Knowledge of OSHA/MSHA safety regulations and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret project specs and schedules.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Aufgaben

• Lead daily asphalt paving operations to complete projects safely and on schedule.
• Plan work activities, manpower, equipment, trucking, and materials.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with CRH policies.
• Coordinate production with asphalt plant, trucking, and operations teams.
• Monitor crew performance and paving quality to maximize productivity.
• Coach and mentor employees on paving techniques and equipment use.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and safety documentation.
• Oversee equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Manage employee schedules, time reporting, and workforce planning.
• Maintain production records and project documentation.
• Build relationships with operations leadership, customers, and support teams.
• Assist with hands-on paving and labor when needed.
• Communicate project updates to the Asphalt Paving & Milling Superintendent.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
