Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of asphalt paving experience preferred.
• Experience on high-traffic road construction with MUTCD traffic control.
• Must regularly lift and/or move heavy objects.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, humidity, dust).
• Safely operate heavy equipment used in road construction and paving.
• Follow OSHA/MSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
• Complete daily pre/post inspections with documentation.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain asphalt paving equipment and related machinery.
• Support road construction in high-traffic areas safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily inspections and report issues to the Supervisor.
• Follow project instructions and daily task expectations.

Rogers Group is seeking motivated, punctual, and safety‑focused asphalt paving equipment operators with previous paving experience for our construction team in Murfreesboro, TN.

Job Details

• Wages starting at $23.00/hr

Job Qualifications

• An uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
• A minimum of 1‑2 years of asphalt paving experience is preferred.
• Experience working with road construction in high traffic areas including some experience with MUTCD traffic control.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move heavy objects.
• Ability to work outdoors which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in road, site or highway construction and paving.
• Ability to properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refer major problems to the Supervisor.
• Perform daily pre‑and‑post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Follow directions of Supervisor as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job.
• Perform general labor duties when necessary, and other duties as assigned.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends, as necessary.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
