Asphalt Milling Equipment Operator – Madison Construction team, Madison, TN

- Day Shift (some night work required)
- Location: Madison, TN
- Wages starting at $23.00/hr. for entry level and laborers.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate mill and other heavy equipment safely and appropriately for varied conditions and situations.
- Operate broom and skid steer to clean up milled surfaces.
- Complete labor tasks around the mill.
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks, cleaning, and greasing.
- Operate with a priority of job safety for all persons working around the equipment.
- Communicate clearly with crew-members to work as a team.
- Work with the team to provide a fully prepared site for the paving crew.
Qualifications
- Advanced understanding of the milling and prep process.
- At least 1 year of previous milling or asphalt crew experience required.
- General and applied knowledge of the paving process and proper procedures for quality finished work.
- Must be dependable and show up for all assigned shifts.
- Able and willing to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold for extended shifts.
- Willing to work nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
- CDL-A while not required is a definite plus.
- Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
