Job summary

Acme Barricades in Lakeland, FL seeks a Striping & Roadway Pavement Marking Machine Operator to perform temporary and permanent pavement marking applications. You will read plans, operate marking equipment, and assist with traffic control and setup.

This role requires lifting, standing, and day/night shifts, with overtime and weekly pay. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in pavement marking/traffic control and MOT Advanced certification.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of pavement marking and Traffic Control or related industry experience.
• MOT Advanced certification.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret roadway striping plans and specifications.
• Operate various types of pavement marking equipment.
• Load and unload equipment and materials into and out of company trucks.
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time during day or night shifts.
• Assist with lane closures and set-up of traffic control devices.
• Complete daily paperwork as required by supervisor.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
