Job summary

Acme-Barricades- is hiring for a Striping & Roadway Pavement Marking Machine Operator to perform temporary and permanent pavement marking applications on roadways. The role requires reading striping plans, operating marking equipment, and complying with safety and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading gear, assisting with traffic control set-ups, completing daily reports, and working varied shifts with potential overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of pavement marking and Traffic Control or related industry experience (i.e. Road Construction, Highway Maintenance, Construction)
• MOT Advanced certification

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret roadway striping plans and specifications
• Operate various types of pavement marking equipment
• Load and unload equipment and materials into and out of company trucks
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time during day or night shifts
• Assist with lane closures and set-up of traffic control devices
• Complete daily paperwork as required by supervisor
• Perform all other duties as assigned
