Job summary

Acme Barricades in Lakeland, FL is hiring a Highway Roadway Pavement Marking and Striping Laborer to perform temporary and permanent pavement marking applications. This role requires adherence to safety guidelines and regulatory standards while supporting traffic control operations.

Responsibilities include assisting the Machine Operator, operating pavement marking equipment, loading gear, and completing daily paperwork.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of pavement marking and Traffic Control or related industry experience (i.e. Road Construction, Highway Maintenance, Construction)
• MOT Advanced certification

Responsibilities

• Assist the Machine Operator with Highway Marking operations
• Operate various types of pavement marking equipment
• Load and unload equipment into and out of company trucks
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time during day or night shifts
• Assist with lane closures and set-up of traffic control devices
• Complete daily paperwork as required by supervisor
• Perform all other duties as assigned
