Acme Barricades in Troy, AL is hiring a Striping & Roadway Pavement Marking Machine Operator to perform temporary and permanent pavement marking applications. The role requires reading striping plans, operating marking equipment, loading/unloading, and adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of pavement marking and Traffic Control or related industry experience (i.e. Road Construction, Highway Maintenance, Construction)
• MOT Advanced certification

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret roadway striping plans and specifications
• Operate various types of pavement marking equipment
• Load and unload equipment and materials into and out of company trucks
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time during day or night shifts
• Assist with lane closures and set-up of traffic control devices
• Complete daily paperwork as required by supervisor
• Perform all other duties as assigned
