Job summary

Acme Barricades in Pensacola, FL is hiring a Striping & Roadway Pavement Marking Machine Operator to perform temporary and permanent pavement marking applications. This role requires interpreting striping plans and operating marking equipment, loading materials, and complying with safety rules.

You will work day or night shifts, assist with traffic control, complete daily paperwork, and meet physical requirements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of pavement marking and Traffic Control or related industry experience (i.e. Road Construction, Highway Maintenance, Construction)
• MOT Advanced certification

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret roadway striping plans and specifications
• Operate various types of pavement marking equipment
• Load and unload equipment and materials into and out of company trucks
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time during day or night shifts
• Assist with lane closures and set-up of traffic control devices
• Complete daily paperwork as required by supervisor
• Perform all other duties as assigned
