Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems, Inc. is hiring a Pavement Marking Technician II to drive and operate pavement marking equipment on road construction and maintenance projects.

The role emphasizes precise application of road markings, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with team members and contractors. The ideal candidate will work in various weather conditions, follow detailed instructions, and help ensure project success across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• DOT requirements must be met.
• Read and interpret plans and traffic control layouts.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate pavement marking equipment to apply paint, thermoplastic, and markings.
• Transport materials and operate company trucks for job site logistics.
• Implement striping plans and perform layout, including intersections.
• Maintain and repair pavement marking equipment and tools.
• Communicate with contractors and field inspectors; supervise field personnel.
• Complete required paperwork and ensure safety protocols are followed.
