Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Pavement Marking Technician II to operate pavement marking equipment for road construction and maintenance projects. You will ensure precise application of markings, follow safety protocols, and maintain equipment in varied weather conditions.

The ideal candidate will follow detailed instructions, work with team members and contractors, and perform site logistics, material transport, and paperwork daily. CDL Class B and DOT compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver\'s license; CDL preferred/required within 60 days.
• Must pass background check.
• Must pass DOT drug test and meet DOT requirements.
• Must complete ATSSA pavement marking intermediate training if mandated.
• Knowledge of state/local roadways.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Experience operating delivery vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Operate pavement marking equipment to apply markings.
• Prepare work areas and transport materials.
• Implement striping plans and layout across intersections.
• Lift, carry, load and unload materials for job sites.
• Maintain equipment and perform repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with contractors and field inspectors.
• Complete daily paperwork and validate specifications.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
