The Pavement Marking Technician II drives and operates pavement marking equipment for road construction and maintenance, ensuring precise application, safety compliance, and smooth project execution in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL with Class B, or obtain within 60 days of employment.
• Pass background check and drug test.
• Meet federal DOT requirements for safety and paperwork.
• Wear safety gear and follow safety procedures on all sites.
• Read plans and implement traffic control plans as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate pavement marking equipment to apply paint, thermoplastic, and markings.
• Prepare work areas, transport materials, and drive company trucks to job sites.
• Implement striping plans and layout, including intersections.
• Perform maintenance on equipment and ensure safety protocols.
