The City of Richmond is seeking a Maintenance and Operations Crew Chief in the Traffic Engineering Sign Division within Public Works. You will oversee pavement marking maintenance, inspect crews, manage schedules, and ensure quality control across projects.

You will coordinate equipment and submissions while interacting with the public on right-of-way issues. Essential personnel may be required to work beyond normal hours, including emergencies, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.

Qualificações

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of college or specialized training.
• Two years of equipment operation/driving experience in related area.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience accepted.

Responsabilidades

• Provide oversight of pavement marking installation and maintenance.
• Inspect work of crew and submit reports.
• Supervise staff and schedule assignments; set performance standards and perform evaluations.
• Oversee vehicle and equipment maintenance; coordinate with other divisions.
• Interact with public to address concerns about sign maintenance.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
