Job summary

Pavement Preservation Group is seeking an Estimator to develop detailed cost estimates for projects, analyzing plans, specs, and quantities to ensure competitive bids. You will collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to assemble accurate cost assessments.

The role requires analyzing market conditions, staying current on material costs and labor rates, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to produce timely bids. Office-based with site measurements as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in estimating, construction, or related field.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Proficiency in estimating software (Bid2Win or HCSS) and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Develop and prepare bid proposals with detailed cost breakdowns and justifications.
• Solicit quotes from subcontractors and vendors; evaluate proposals for pricing and quality.
• Monitor project costs against estimates and provide cost analysis to managers.
