Job summary

BROTHERS Pro-Pave LLC is seeking an Estimator to determine construction costs for concrete projects by analyzing plans, specs, and documents. You will estimate materials, labor, and equipment, negotiating with suppliers to secure the best prices and preparing detailed cost proposals.

Responsibilities include bid preparation, cost tracking, and collaboration with project managers to ensure estimates meet safety, quality, and schedule requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, with concrete/asphalt focus.
• Able to read/interpret blueprints, specs and technical docs.
• Proficient with estimating software (Bluebeam, OST, PlanSwift or similar).
• Strong mathematical, analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and specifications to prepare accurate estimates for concrete work.
• Calculate costs of labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Identify risks and opportunities in the estimating process.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to align estimates with requirements.
• Prepare and present bid proposals in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain cost databases and stay current with market trends.
