Job summary

University of Missouri System is seeking a Patron Services Manager to oversee front of house operations for Jesse Auditorium and The Missouri Theatre. This full-time role includes managing ticketing staff, coordinating client needs, and directing marketing assets across websites, signage, marquees, and social media.

The position handles staff recruitment and training, oversees show builds in Archtics and Ticketmaster Host, and coordinates marketing and maintenance of patron spaces.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in relevant operations or supervisory roles.
• Experience in front of house operations or event management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, schedule, and discipline part-time house management and ticket sales staff.
• Set clear performance expectations for Front of House and Box Office operations.
• Assign staff to functional positions and ensure event rosters are filled with qualified staff.
• Coordinate volunteer front of house staff as needed for ushering, greeting, and ticket scanning.
• Develop and implement training procedures for paid staff and volunteers.
• Provide ongoing coaching and training as needed.
• Confirm and approve staff time in EMS for billing.
• Process biweekly payroll reconciliation and approval.
• Review upcoming event information in EMS to ensure clear FOH and ticketing instructions.
• Produce drawings or documentation for custom equipment setups and signage.
• Setup equipment and signage prior to FOH staff arrival when possible.
• Prepare and print staff rosters and name badges for higher service level events.
• Generate ticketing reports to track sales and settlements.
• Work with clients to obtain show information and graphics for marketing materials.
• Develop schedules for display of marketing materials and obtain client approvals.
• Update EMS with marketing billing as needed.
• Maintain standard FOH spaces, ensuring order and cleanliness.
• Maintain FOH equipment storage areas and supplies (flashlights, batteries, tape, signage).
• Ensure lost and found is organized and managed by FOH and Box Office staff.
