Job summary

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra is seeking a Part-Time Patron Service Representative to join our Box Office team. You will engage patrons in person, over the phone, and at concerts with friendly, professional service and accurate information about events, tickets, and promotions.

Ideal candidates have box office or sales experience, strong computer and communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Box office experience or sales experience required.
• Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Clear communication skills, professional demeanor and guest-focused.
• Flexibility and willingness to continually learn.
• Familiarity with classical music helpful.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify and promote CSO guest service model.
• Engage patrons in person, over the phone, and at concerts with superior service.
• Learn and retain information about concerts and promotions to answer questions accurately.
• Communicate and troubleshoot issues promptly while maintaining high standards.
• Assist with increasing patron engagement, ticket sales, and donations.
• Collaborate with Box Office Managers and other managers on skill development.
• Support other departments with projects.
• Contribute to CSO’s vision to be the most relevant orchestra in America.
