Job summary

The Woodruff Arts Center’s Alliance Theatre seeks a Front of House Manager to lead the patron experience, overseeing part-time staff and volunteer ushers. You’ll work across Patron Services, Box Office, Stage Management and other departments to ensure hospitality and safety for each performance.

With 3+ years in patron services and house management, you’ll supervise teams, plan events, and deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic arts environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in patron services and house management.
• Experience supervising staff and collaborating within a large organization.
• Strong customer service skills and hospitality mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary on-site contact with patrons during performances, ensuring warmth, respect and professionalism.
• Lead on-site patron services at events and opening nights, ensuring guests feel welcomed and recognized.
• Design and deliver loyalty-building moments and special patron experiences.
• Collaborate with Box Office and Sales to maximize subscriber value and seat access.
• Ensure safety and accessibility; coordinate with maintenance and security; complete post-show House Manager Worksheet.
