Job summary

The Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta is seeking an Associate Director of Patron Experience to lead Box Office, Front of House, and Concierge teams. You will supervise a team of about fifteen staff, oversee seating during performances, and partner with marketing, education, and data services to enhance patron engagement.

This role requires a strong background in theatre operations, 6+ years in leadership within patron services, and experience with Tessitura.

Qualifications

6+ years of leadership in patron services or box office management.
Strong understanding of theatre industry and patron engagement strategies.
Experience with Tessitura is required; proficient in reporting and data tools.
Excellent communication and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

Train, supervise, and support a team of approximately fifteen employees, directly managing four managers and three concierges.
Ensure effective staffing schedules for all patron services, front of house, and concierges shifts, optimizing for busy periods and special events.
Ensure patron email and voicemails are responded to as quickly as possible, ideally within 24 hours.
Oversee and manage all customer service functions for performances, subscriptions, and education activities including classes, camps, and family events.
Coordinate Opening Night logistics, including running the seating meetings and executing seating arrangements.
Attend regular meetings on behalf of the patron services team, including Marketing meetings and Sales meetings.
