Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time patrol role in Austin, TX. You will monitor a financial institution, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms, conducting patrols, and reporting on security observations. The role requires a high school diploma, background check, and ability to work a daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years armed security.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen are required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity; report unusual conditions to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for incidents and patrols.
