Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Full Time Patrol in Austin, TX. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service in a technology-focused environment.

The role requires responding to incidents, coordinating with contacts and responders, and upholding site policies. A guard card/license and CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Qualifications

• Guard card/license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, common spaces, and facility perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Support a professional workplace environment by providing directions and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns.
