Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Receptionist in Austin, TX to protect clients across tech, media, and telecom facilities. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

Five potential shifts include late afternoons to evenings. Prior military police or armed security experience is valued, with a background check and drug screen required per policy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as Military Police Officer, Corrections Officer, Armed Security, or as a Certified Law Enforcement Graduate.
• Type at least 40 words per minute.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet; access control or badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce site-specific security procedures and emergency responses.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of technology and media facilities, including entry points and perimeters.
• Monitor and report unusual activity and facility conditions per site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and coordination with staff during routine and emergency situations.
