Raytheon in Andover, MA is seeking a second shift Manufacturing Engineer to develop and improve manufacturing processes, supporting on-time, low-cost hardware delivery with reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Developing, maintaining, and reviewing Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, tool and fixture designs.
• Guiding production teams through process troubleshooting and incorporation of engineering changes into the MDP.
• Disposing non-conforming material with root-cause and corrective action analysis.
• Driving continuous improvement to reduce cycle time, ergonomic risk, and costs using CORE principles and data-driven decisions.
• Providing real-time technical support to manufacturers and fabricators; in-house and supply base.
• Leading corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence.
• Travel as required.
