Tenet Healthcare's DMC Harper University Hospital in Detroit is seeking a Patient Transporter to move patients and materials safely within the hospital. Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, follow written and oral instructions and perform general clerical functions related to the job.
• No previous related experience required; one to four weeks on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients by stretcher, wheelchair or bed for treatment, testing, admitting, discharge and intra-hospital transfers.
• Deliver specimens, patient charts and other materials to specified departments or areas within the hospital.
