Job summary

Tenet Healthcare's DMC Harper University Hospital in Detroit is seeking a Patient Transporter to move patients and materials safely within the hospital. Job Summary/Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, and according to established policies and procedures, performs transporter duties which may include, but are not limited to escorting and/or transporting patients within the hospital. Escorts patients by stretcher, wheelchair or bed for treatment, testing, admitting, discharge and intra-hospital transfers. Delivers on request specimens, patient charts and various other patient related materials to specified department or other hospital area.
