McLaren Health Care is seeking a patient transporter to move patients within the medical center, ensuring safe and timely transfers. Under supervision, you will assist with lifting, transferring, and repositioning patients using approved equipment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with medical staff, helping patients to vehicles or beds, and maintaining HIPAA and OSHA compliance. This is a full-time role with daily shifts, contributing to a compassionate hospital environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three months of job related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates with medical personnel to move patients to tests, procedures, surgery, or discharge as directed.
• Assists patients in and out of bed or into wheelchairs or stretchers to reach destinations.
• Uses transfer devices and protective equipment in line with hospital policies.
• Demonstrates proper body mechanics for safe patient handling.
• Works with team, follows department and hospital policies, and communicates with supervisor.
• Cleans mobility equipment after each use per hospital policy.
• Observes and reports patient reactions to the delivery process to appropriate staff.
