Job summary

Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Patient Transporter for the second shift. The role involves safe and timely movement of patients, specimens, equipment, and supplies across the Medical Center using stretchers, wheelchairs, and beds.

You will assist with patient transfers, maintain patient dignity, and keep transport gear clean. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience, and Heart Saver CPR within 30 days of start date.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• CPR certification (Heart Saver) within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients, specimens, equipment and supplies throughout the Medical Center using stretchers, wheelchairs and beds.
• Assists in transferring patients onto/off transport conveyances, secures patient IDs, and ensures patient dignity and privacy.
• Maintains cleanliness of transport equipment and keeps inventory across departments.
