Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients between departments and to vehicles, assist with boarding and alighting, and move patients using wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Transport equipment and supplies to treatment areas.
• Transport laboratory specimens to the laboratory following safety protocols.
• Transport deceased patients per protocol and deliver to morgue.
• Rounding on departments to assess needs and provide assistance as needed.
• Interact with patients using AIDET principles and maintain confidentiality.
