Job summary

Qualifications

Ability to perform medium to heavy physical labor.
Preferred: High School Diploma and hospital experience, plus strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Transport patients, equipment, and materials throughout the hospital in a courteous, timely manner.
Locate equipment during retrieval runs to replenish inventory.
Transport the deceased to the hospital morgue.
Wash equipment in the Transport Services area.
Monitor dispatching by answering phones, logging calls, and dispatching staff.
Perform daily runs for delivery of computerized reports, supplies, and Medical Records.
Ensure services are performed efficiently and address service issues as needed.
