Qualifications

• Ability to perform medium to heavy physical labor.
• Preferred: High School Diploma and previous hospital experience; good intrapersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients, equipment, and materials throughout the hospital in a courteous, efficient manner.
• Locate equipment during retrieval runs and replenish inventory.
• Transport deceased to the hospital morgue.
• Wash equipment in the Transport Services area.
• Monitor dispatch by answering phones, logging calls, and dispatching staff.
• Perform daily scheduled runs for delivery of reports, supplies and Medical Records.
• Ensure services are performed efficiently and address issues promptly.
