Job summary

Southern Indian Health Council, Inc. is seeking a temporary Driver in Campo, CA to provide transportation for eligible patients. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with compensation ranging from $21.00 to $27.58 per hour DOE.

Responsibilities include transporting patients, keeping logs, and coordinating with the transportation team. The role requires a valid California driver's license, a good driving record, and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Driving experience required.
• A good driving record will be required at the time of hire and must be maintained throughout employment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Transports adult and youth patients; delivers Senior meals.
• Coordinates with the Senior/Transportation Coordinator and SIHC departments to transport clients when required.
• Maintains a log of transportation by date and time, delineating point of departure, pick-up, destination, and mileage.
• Maintains servicing of government vehicles and reports on vehicle usage (mileage) at the beginning of each month to the SIHC Maintenance Supervisor.
• Follows posted speed limits, caution signs, and traffic signals.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule may be required based on need.
• Other duties as assigned.
