Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Licensure: Valid CA driver’s license and current medical examination.
• Must be 21 years or older with a good driving record as per DMV.
• Handle with Care and Verbal De-escalation training within 90 days.
• CPR training provided in-house.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for patients to and from the facility in a safe manner.
• Obey all traffic laws while driving company vehicles.
• Report van maintenance problems to Transportation Supervisor and Outpatient Manager.
• Maintain the van log with updated addresses and phone numbers.
• Communicate with the Outpatient Manager and staff about patient care issues.
• Maintain a clean environment for patients at all times.
