Job summary

Fresno American Indian Health Project is seeking a Driver/Transporter to provide safe, reliable transportation for clients and staff to health appointments and programs. The role includes maintaining vehicle records, coordinating trips with staff, and supporting other departments when transportation is not required.

Qualified applicants will hold a California Class B license (or Class C with Passenger Endorsement), have a clean DMV record, and be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• California Class B Driver’s License (or Class C with Passenger Endorsement) with DMV report showing <2 points.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate client transportation with staff to ensure timely service.
• Safely transport clients to and from appointments, programs, and services.
• Monitor safety and conduct of passengers during trips.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Log mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance activities as required.
