Job summary

The Southern Indian Health Council, Inc. is seeking a Driver (Temp) in Campo, CA to provide transportation for eligible patients under the supervision of the Clinic Administrator.

The role is Full Time, non-exempt, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM in Campo. Responsibilities include transporting patients, coordinating with the Transportation team, maintaining logs, and ensuring vehicle readiness.

Qualifications

• Driving experience required; a good driving record is required at time of hire and maintained throughout employment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Transports adult and youth patients and delivers Senior meals.
• Coordinates with the Senior/Transportation Coordinator and departments to transport clients as needed.
• Maintains a transportation log by date/time, including origin, pickup, destination, and mileage.
• Maintains serviceability of government vehicles and reports mileage to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Follows posted speed limits, caution signs, and traffic signals.
• May be required to work a flexible schedule based on need.
• Other duties as assigned.
