Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated valet/patient transport assistant to greet patients and visitors, assist with luggage and in/out vehicles, and provide safe valet parking service at the facility.

You will register patients and coordinate movements within the lobby and related areas, educate guests on services, operate vehicles safely, and maintain equipment and safety standards. Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• BLS certification within 6 months preferred.
• Oral and written communication skills and organization skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients/visitors on arrival to the facility.
• Assist with luggage and in/out vehicle for patients/visitors.
• Process valet claim tickets according to procedures.
• Safely valet park, secure and retrieve cars in designated areas.
• Direct patients, visitors and staff to parking areas.
• Register patients and visitors and coordinate with them within the facility.
• Educate and guide patients and visitors to required destinations and resources.
• Operate company vehicles safely for transport of passengers and materials.
• Inspect and maintain transport equipment, report defects immediately.
• Ensure lobby access areas remain clear and safe for all.
• Attend required meetings and adhere to policies and procedures.
