Qualifications

• Reading and writing English is required.
• Clear telephone communication and excellent verbal skills are essential.
• Ability to perform well under stress and maintain professionalism.
• Maintain professional/business appearance and organization.
• Knowledge of Guardian policies and EMS resources is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Ability to record, transmit, and report information accurately.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between Guardian Ambulance Service and assigned hospital.
• Be the customer contact for patients and families requesting non-emergency transport.
• Assist with customer service issues for the designated facility.
• Complete customer satisfaction surveys for Guardian services.
• Follow up with patients to ensure appropriate services were provided.
• Coordinate scheduling of nonemergency transports for efficient resource use.
• Maintain knowledge of EMS resources and area capabilities.
• Update management on changes affecting the company.
