Join our team as a Patient Support Services Specialist at Trinity Health. This is a full-time, day shift position within our remarkable care team at Trinity Health Michigan, serving five counties in Southeastern Michigan. We are part of a national Catholic health system committed to community health and excellence.

Position Overview

The role involves assisting the Service Delivery Leader with daily operations, leading staff assignments, ensuring compliance with policies, and maintaining high standards of patient and staff satisfaction. You will also perform duties of Environmental Aide, PCAI, Specialist, Waste Handler, and Supply Room Clerk as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work schedules and assign duties to staff.
• Perform duties across various roles to support team operations.
• Respond as Department Lead and serve as a point of contact for staff and patients.
• Conduct rounds, enforce performance standards, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Manage supply inventories and conduct staff feedback and training sessions.
• Participate in quality assurance, monitor bed tracking, and uphold confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Six to twelve months of related work experience.
• Good communication skills, conflict management, basic computer skills, and knowledge of safety procedures.
