Job summary

Treace Medical Concepts, Inc. is hiring a Patient-Specific Design Engineer in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. You will design patient-specific cut guides from CT data into 3D models using SOLIDWORKS, collaborating with surgeons to meet case requirements.

You will support cross-functional teams in production, quality checks, and documentation, and help drive process improvements for scalable device development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in mechanical design or biomedical engineering.
• 2+ years of relevant mechanical design and manufacturing engineering experience is required.
• Medical device development experience and/or internships preferred
• Experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate in Mechanical Design (CSWA) certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze CT data and design patient-specific cut guides using SOLIDWORKS.
• Interact with surgeons to determine patient-specific needs for guides.
• Ensure timely production and delivery of custom guides; perform quality checks.
• Create pre-operative plans for surgeons.
• Support software and project engineers; feedback on automation.
• Assist in process improvements and scalability.
• Assist in assembling models, guides, manuals, and plans
